So that's exactly what I did.
It's a night that starts off reckless in surrender, slips into second-guessing, spirals, haunts you, and finally releases.

Agghhh, I fell in love with Raye when I heard her on Disclosure's "Waterfalls." So when this new album dropped, I knew I needed to dedicate some real time to it. And thus — it had to be this week's album.
I'm actually going to keep this one short and sweet. The title says everything.
This is a joyous album. Cinematic. It's going to make you feel things. As a musical theater geek, this gave me showtunes — but make it genre-fluid and ready to explore. And she got the GOAT, Hans Zimmer, on it. Like — what?!
This album feels huge. It takes up so much space.
My favorite has to be "Life Boat." It talks so deeply about the pains of life and not giving up — then comes in with this beautiful dance music beat. EDM strikes me here because one of the most uplifting songs on the album is dance music.
I also f*cks with "Joy," which she sings with her sisters — ain't that sick.
Raye is in a league of her own.
You will, indeed, feel hope after listening.
