Have you ever felt like you were born in the wrong era of music?
I feel like that a lot when it comes to the soul, disco, and funk of the 70's.
Imagine the vibes back then? No phones, killer music, and the style… sheeesh.
I wanted to share disco house with you this week because I really do think it's the next wave of EDM.
I was feeling a little off headed into this week's curation, and I knew disco house would flip it around. It reminds me to live, dance, and enjoy the present moment.
I was loving putting this week together, so I threw in a bonus track — six songs instead of five.
This week's album hits the same notes: old school sound, current touch of magic, and a whole lotta vibes.
Hope you're ready to turn your bedroom into the disco.

My love for Jungle runs deep. I discovered them when they released their album Volcano. If you heard or even watched the infamous “Back on 74” then you know this band and the vibes.
I was blessed to see them live at the Kia Forum and it was non-stop dancing.
If this is your first time hearing about jungle, I highly recommend listening to Volcano first.
The music videos for all of their music features incredible dancers and amazing one shot takes.
Now getting into Sunshine.
This album really refines the sound they've discovered through their previous albums.
The album is only 30 minutes, but it definitely has a depth that compliments the upbeat and vibey music jungle is known for.
I was listening and I like this album; it's so chill.
As a whole, it's such a cohesive piece of art.
The title track “sunshine” is the leading example of how this album is supposed to feel.
What I love about this album is that we are all going through different seasons in our lives, but the sunshine persists.
It is the reminder that joy, optimism, and the sunshine is a state of being and mind.
Lydia Kitto who was officially added to Jungle on this album and is the lead vocalist on many of the tracks.

Some of the songs I immediately needed to add to my library was “Move Like You Do” “Someday, Somewhere” and “Heavy on my soul”
The closer “Heavy on my soul” has such a compelling and haunting vocal.
You won't regret spending some time listening to this album <3
