I think I died, went to house heaven, and then resurrected my soul to bring you this week's TLR session.
If you didn't know I went to Chicago for a music festival called ARC.
It was absolutely iconic to attend this festival at the home and creation of house music.
Chicago definitely hasn't seen the last of me.
I had a wonderful time with my bestie, Jai. Her music taste is impeccable and the joy she brings to my life is unmatched.
We really was running the town.
But it's also dope to experience music with someone who loves the intricacies, the finesse, the drops, the groove, and everything that makes music so beautiful.
We chased the unfamiliar and danced to over 30 sets spread out across four days.
I have 5 songs from artists that I had no clue who I was walking into.
Consider them delightful surprises. A mix of house, techno, and something in between. Prepare your ears.
And the album of this week is inspired from an afters I went to while in Chicago too! It's one of the fastest album I've ever listened to.
So buckle up and let's groove.

What is going to a music festival and being in the home of house without going to an ARC AFTERS?
We had got tickets to see Boys Noize (slayed btw) but Adrian Mills stole this afters.
Adrian Mills threw down a masterclass of a set at BPMs that were fast, bouncy, and my god absolutely killer.
The afters had 3 levels on the floor and we were on the 3rd level soaking it all in.
I'm very grateful to have a friend like Jai who is willing to go deep into the music and talk about every single intricacy.
To say the least, we were inspired, awestruck, and felt completely capable.
Now we did feel a little blue balled in the set, but Adrian's intentionality made the payoff worth it everytime.
EVERY SINGLE TIME.
It's been a couple weeks now and all that's running through my mind is…
“PROBANDO PROBANDO”
Now I don't even speak a lick of Spanish, but I felt exactly what this album meant to him.
And when I was dancing in that club I understood the assignment.
When I arrived in LAX I had about an hour and a half drive.
The perfect way to take in this album. It had me zoom, zoom, zooming to Bako.
I absolutely love what he wrote about this album…
"For me, it means unity and family.
Something that started as a dream, as a test, has become a reality without ever ceasing to be one.

This is the fastest album I've ever listened to.
And I FUCKING LOVE IT.
This may not be for everyone, but this is truly a sound I'll be seeking in future events and festivals.
My fave tracks are “Renacer” “Bota Bota” “Rich Girls World” “Baby” “Siren Sound” and “Spotlight”
And if I ever pick up djing spinning something this fast at an afters would be legendary.
So cheers to PROBANDO PROBANDO!
